HomEquity Bank launches Mindful Money Podcast to Honour National Seniors Day in Canada
In honour of National Seniors Day in Canada, HomEquity Bank, Canada’s only provider of the CHIP Reverse Mortgage®, has launched Mindful Money, a podcast series that aims to address the broader issues that affect the financial well-being of Canadian seniors.
Each week, industry experts will join the podcast to discuss an array of issues including, managing debt, health care options, financial planning, real estate trends and the impact of demographic shifts on the economy.
“Seniors are a growing portion of the Canadian population and we feel it is important to raise awareness about the issues that impact their financial well-being and retirement,” said Yvonne Ziomecki, Executive Vice-President of Marketing and Sales. “Contrary to popular belief, seniors are online more than ever before. And with the Mindful Money podcast series, our mission is to ignite the conversation about the financial preparedness of Canadians in retirement.”
